My daughter Rachel lost a friend this past weekend. Her name was Erica and she was only 16. Erica was killed in a car crash, and lived for 5 more days afterwards. She was a beautiful girl, full of life. I can't even begin to imagine how her parents feel. Erica was a frequent visitor here, and called many, many times. We had come to know her very well. She now is in Heaven, and is doing some special work for God.
Don't EVER give your daughter a camera, and let her have free run of what she wants to have on a picture! WHO IS THIS????? YIKES! Please tell me that is JUST a friend, and not someone who you really know! Oh, my daughter Rachel!!

The day after Thanksgiving.....
We deep fry our turkey and I wish I had a dime for everytime someone says....OOHHH isn't that really greasy? Nope, I reply with a knowing smile. For a deep fried turkey is really juicy and has just a great taste! And the bonus is that it only takes 4 minutes per pound. HA! Ok, I digress.....today is BLACK FRIDAY...which means that I feel like I am forced to do shopping. First let me remind you that I have 6 children who want EVERYTHING! The oldest one is graduating this year, and that of course will take some money...another one is in an expensive volleyball club, another one wants expensive clothes, another one wants a Playstation 3 and then I have my two youngest. Grace who is spoiled by her "pop pop" who has more toys than I had in my 18 years growing up at home....and my baby whom, I do admit that I spoil. She just had a birthday...(pictures to be posted soon) and she got some really cute stuff. Which Grace has now taken over as HER toys. Now today I want my scared of ladders husband to put up Christmas lights.....I had better have more coffee.....

I'm Not ready for THIS!!!!! This is just a dusting in our back yard....but this also means....I have to take 2 teenage girls shopping for coats that are TOO high priced, that I don't want to buy, I have to get out the 15 single gloves that are in one color, find the homemade scarves that NOBODY wears that I love! Man, why can't it be 75 degrees all year long?Ok, so I am going to complain (nay, bitch) about a pet peeve that I have. Cell phone users who drive 20 miles an hour in front of ME!! Taking Matt to the bus stop this morning, a small car was in front of me and a woman was chatting on the phone. Yes, I have used my cell in the car....anyway-she was driving 20 miles down a main road and there were people behind her, so I passed her. I think I have a type A personality when it comes to driving. AAHHHH! Just irritates the living daylights out of me! And what is so important at 7:00 anyway? If you are talking to your kids, fine but GET OFF THE PHONE AND DRIVE!! Ok, I'm done.
